Mr. Satish Chandra Misra, the Chairman, UP State Advisory Board approves Braj Tourism Master Plan prepared by The Braj Foundation and IL&FS IDC

Member CVC, Mrs. Ranjana Kumar at the Braj Foundation's Vrindavan officeMr. Satish Chandra Misra, Chairman UP Advisory Board, discussing the Braj Trourism Master Plan with the CEO of The Braj Foundation Mr. Vineet Narain and Mr. Navneet Sehgal, Secretary to the Chief Minister of UP, in New Delhi on 10th December 2008. Mr. Misra appreciated this work and issued directives to the concerned officials to take it ahead.

This Master Plan has been prepared by The Braj Foudation team lead by Mr. Raghav Mittal, Project Coordinator in association with IL&FS IDC.

On 23rd November, 2008, Dr. Subas Pani, Secratary Planning Commission of India saw this Master Plan at Mathura and praised The Braj Foundation in these words, "On my recent visit to Mathura and Vrindavan, I was impressed to see the Tourism Master Plan of Braj prepared by your Foundation for the UP Govt. I have seen many master plans in the country but I have rarely come across a plan like this which is so comprehensive, detailed and has been prepared with great sensitivity towards the environment and heritage of Braj region."
